Shilpi Gupta is a first generation Indo - American from Lexington, Kentucky, now living in Boulder, Colorado. She feels immense gratitude for being part of the beauty, complexity and learning that comes from spanning two cultures. Professionally she works as a software engineer on a room-sized science installation aimed at environmental literacy. Artistically she explores photography, mixed media, video, performance art, dance, music, collaboration, environment, self. Moments of transition continue to be her first loves.
